On May 9th, the HSK Exam was successfully held in Stockholm, attracting candidates from various Nordic countries with different ages and learning goals.
Carl Tufvesson, with 3 years of high school teaching experience, focuses on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He will go to Taiwan, China for short-term further studies, took HSK 2 for the first time and aims to reach HSK 8 in the future.
Simon has learned Chinese for 2.5 years out of interest, using HelloTalk, Hanly and hobbies like Call of Duty Mobile to make learning fun. Fredrik, who started learning Chinese at age of 5 in London, keeps self-studying in Sweden and hopes to visit Beijing soon.

HSK is the world’s third-largest language test after IELTS and TOEFL. HSK scores are one of the requirements for international students to apply for admission and scholarship for university studies in China.
By having taken one HSK test at any level, the examinees (age 14 – 30 years old) have chance to join China Tour organized by HSK Test Center in Stockholm. Such tour usually takes place in 10 days during Easter holiday or Autumn holiday every year. All costs occurred in China are covered by scholarship.
How many words (vocabulary) do you need to learn for the tests ?
Level 1 requires 150 Chinese characters/words
Level 2 requires 300 Chinese characters/words
Level 3 requires 600 Chinese characters/words
